San Francisco Alliance in the Mission has been partnering with local churches and families affected by the North Bay Fires. As a church, we have adopted 3 families. There are two ways you can help us support and bring relief to families that are currently going through an immense loss.
DONATE TO THE GENERAL FUND
SFAM will distribute funds directly to families.
Donate directly to a family
Husband and wife lost their home. They have three children and are uninsured. They have lived in Coffey park forever. They raised their kids here and consider everyone on their block to be family. They host Halloween parties and Christmas parties in their cul de sac. Scott is a retired UPS driver, April is a school nurse. Their son and his wife, recently moved in with them along with their 3 year old daughter Ramona. They will be renting a home in Bennett Valley and hope to rebuild again.
Elderly missionary couple. They lost their home and everything in it. They were able to escape the fire by leaving with only the clothes on their back. They need to relocate to New Mexico to live temporarily with their children.
Mother and Daughter. They lost their home. She is friends with the Wises (also lost their home). She is separated from, but still in connection with, her husband who is ill and hospitalized. She has a teen aged daughter with her. They have found a place to rent while their home is rebuilt.
*Because North Bay is in an emergency state, the profiles will keep being updated through the week as evacuees are identified.
